Be amazed if Lukaku was available to us.

Why would we be interested, really? He wouldn't fit into our side at all.   We're all about movement, running into channels, pace, and hard work.

Lukaku hasn't pace.  He doesn't really run into channels.  He doesn't really work hard.

He does have a knack for getting into goal scoring positions, and he's definitely a finisher though.

The Times are reporting Luiz to Barca is a done deal, but will not be announced until after the World Cup.

So Chelsea are massively strengthened in just 2 transfers. Cunts.

I just don't get the Luiz hype at all. He's fucking garbage. Major fuck up by Barca there IMO. They need a really good CB to replace Puyol, not an imitation caricature, skinny, Brazilian clown version of him.

Oh aren't they banned from transfers? Or has that been lifted already?

Chelsea won't sell Lukaku to us. I'm not saying we'd be in for him, or he'd even fit in here. What I'm saying is that even if we offered them what they wanted for him, I'd be amazed if a sale was sanctioned.

Adam Lallana - number 1 transfer target? Fuck me.

I hope to fucking god that isn't true. Here I was dreaming of the European elite. I don't mind Lallana but not as our primary attacking transfer target.

Also, why the fuck aren't we in for Costa?

Are we seriously too broke to afford 30 odd million for gods sake?

Didn't he already agree a deal with Chelsea anyway?

If not I agree we should be in for him, if only to drive the price up.

They activated his release clause apparently mate. Powerless to resist the ugly, tainted, aids ridden, russian gangster oil money.

Always knew he was a bit of a cunt.

What if other clubs offered the same amount? There must be some room for bidding once the release clause is met by one team, no?

It would be rude not to wouldn't. Shit, Spurs must have some remaining Bale money to bid on anything that remotely sounds like a decent transfer.

Because Costa isn't a flexible player? Haven't you noticed most of our attacking players can play more than one position?

Rodgers tactical flexibility extends to our squad, really.  Expect all of our targets in the attacking third to be able to play as wingers, attacking midfielders, and/or strikers.

Costa often played on the left last year.
