Nothing wrong with Craghoppers . You can get it cheap and it works . I love Fjallraven stuff myself but when it gets really wet then the Berhaus Trango comes out .

Back on topic - my one of these was fucking brilliant last night at the match. I even witnessed cold Norwegians in Britain, which shows how fucking Baltic it was. And yet I was as warm as I've been at the match probably ever.

I sat there last night very warm, with my McMurdo on with just a shirt underneath. Quite a lot of people shivering around me. My mate commented on how his face was freezing but mine wasn't, best investment I ever made.

I like The North Face jackets and have had a few of them, they look smart and are practical. I currently have these two, but will be getting one of the proper winter coats for next winter.

 

Mens Pamir Windstopper Jacket - expensive for a fleece but worth spending the extra on as it blocks the wind from cutting through.

 

 

Mens Resolve Jacket - ideal for the warmer months when it's wet, agree with RJ Fanclub on the hood though, it's massive and you can't tighten it, so if it's windy it just blows down.

Yes they will. For what it's worth, I have a lovely red one. I've no idea of the make or model. I keep it in the car for impulsive rainy walks or roadside emergencies.

The scotes are probably wearing fakes, one of the most faked clothing items out there and some are very good fakes. Except when it comes to actually keeping out the wind and rain, then it's as good as a tissue parka.
