Not the easy ones like Farage and the likes, but someone who still makes reasonable sense or would otherwise make you happy. Linda Robson for me. Seems like a knob and she'd make a proper Cockney noise once you connected, "arrrrgh gawwwwedelpus!!!"

Investigative journalism at its very best. Ground breaking work by Gregg Wallace and the team. The Tories can't survive this, shirley?

What do you chaps and chapesses use to listen to music in your gaff? We've changed things around downstairs with some decent chairs/book shelves and whatnot and I'm looking at introducing some sounds. I know fuck all about it though. Do people "do" sound systems these days or do you just stream music? If so, through what? An Elexa style shit or something else? If so, what's the best streaming service for it?

Just bought something as a toy and it is a bit bonkers and has made me feel 19 all over again. Had it home an hour or so and already googling decals to stick on it. Like a nob. Few mates and even the dealer who sold it to me said get it remapped and it will be blow your mind. It is already pretty hairy in a good way. Driving a slow car fast is much more fun than driving a fast car slow. Anyway anyone have any experience of this particularly with insurance in mind? Everyone has said don't bother informing them because if you smash it up they wont be able to read it anyway. Makes me nervous though. Advice appreciated.

Rewatching this and only noticed we don’t have a thread on it. We now have a thread on it. Mr. Peanutbutter is one of my favourite fictional characters ever.

I've been on it for years but not used it much. I'm after a new job so I've gone on it and updated my profile, cv etc. But fuck me, what a horrendous place that really is. Packed to the seams with cunts I never liked in the first place, grandly proclaiming the success of their latest fucking awful project or event. Or parading pictures of themselves and their equally fuckawful colleagues sporting some pointless industry award. I can't even put this down to jealousy, on the fact that rather than spending years licking last night's supper out of my boss' arse to climb the corporate ladder I went off and ran a pub then went couriering for a bit. …

Saw something similar on fb so shamelessly nicked a couple to start: Someone is knocked on the head and immediately becomes unconscious. Every platoon of US soldiers has a Kowalski. It's compulsory for doctors to say "don't you die on me" to everyone they treat. If a door is locked with an electronic lock, shooting it will unlock the door. Handily if the same door happens to be unlocked, shooting the electronic lock will then lock the door. Falling down a flight of stairs has two possible outcome: you either suffer no injuries whatsoever or you die.

Couple of weeks ago I watched all of the Final Destination films. Not scary obvs but a fairly decent set of brainless popcorn horror flicks. Today I thought I'd give the Scream series a go. First one pretty poor, second one - the first 10 minutes is so un fucking believable shite I think I'll swerve the rest. Are there any others worth watching? Halloween etc any good? Tia

Can't believe it was 18 years today those slags blew up 3 tubes and a bus, freaks my nut out to this day. I had the day booked off work as had been to see Oasis the night before at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. My housemate at the time came and woke me up from my hungover lie-in and we sat watching the news all day.

In honour of Woo’s (whatever happened to him?) “The Twitter” thread I’ve started a “The Threads” thread. I’ve said the word threads more times there then at any point in my life. Anyway, we can’t get it in Ireland yet because Zuckerberg is a massive xenophobic anti-Irish cunt. But when we can, I’ll probably join, so is it just the same as Twitter in operation? Also, post your account name here if you want so we can see who each other is and keep all the friendly and sensible and reasoned and informative discussions going.

Long shot, but does anyone on here know anyone who specialises in immigration law? My wife's friend has been here seven years after coming over from the Congo as a student. She stayed and has been working voluntarily for a local church and helping refugees (she isn't a refugee herself) but now they're deporting her. She's never claimed a penny in benefits as she stays with people from the church and helps out in the office. The church has been trying to help her with the Home Office but they're saying she needs to go back. She's terrified of going back there (don't know why, she doesn't talk about it). Just need some advice on whether there's anyt…
