Saw her live several times - including in Prague around 95. 
 

At the Royal Albert Hall in Nov 1990 she was terrifying - she was so pissed off and intense as f*#k. Didn’t speak a word just tore through her set with that majestic voice. 
 

in Prague she was opposite - relaxed, jocular and happy. Both sides of her personality right there. 
 

A beast of an artist with the strength of character to speak out. 
 

Really gutted waking up to that news, that said, it’s been on the cards for some time. R. I. P.
