Make no mistake about it, that red card was predicted before the game. Not having had a red card or penalty awarded against them all season, it'll be handy, now that the title race is over and the result doesn't matter, that they can point out that they have had a red card and so are 'treated the same as everyone else'.

It's only keeping up appearances, with Webb as the biggest conman in the piece in appearing to show no favouritism or bias. Not a chance he would have done it earlier in the season when things were still in the mix.

If it hadn't been for quite a few last minute winners Newcastle would be gone already. Three of the four last wins in the league the winning goal was scored in the 90th minute+. I can see a last ditch goal saving them from relegation in the last game coming.
