Yes but if you point this out to the evertonians in the city they will point out and quite rightly that the deal will actually make the council money and it's z good deal for the city which it is in fairness.

 

Unless of course Everton get relegated and then can't afford to repay the loan then it falls on the tax payer to repay the loan.
