Yeah the Gilmoss area off the East Lancs would have been cheaper and a lot more accessible but you know it could never compare to the banks of the Royal blue Mersey with ships coming from all over the world on massive detours just to see this new stadium and all that.

I'm still not sure what it is they actually want. Their 'lovely Iranian' has pumped hundreds of millions into the club and started work on the first stadium to be powered by dreams and unicorns, plus they've managed to avoid punishment for cheating FFP.

 

If anything the cunt's been too receptive to what the fanbase want. He's spent big on players and appointed and fired managers when they decide they're not suitable for the big club they pretend they are, or play dogshit football to get results. Unless of course, it's the glorious end to last season, when some of the most cynical tactics ever devised kept them up- sorry, when the Spirit of the Blues and an unrivalled and unprecedented support saw them experience something no Redshite ever will.

 

Is Moshiri's major failing to them just administrative, then? He hasn't appointed competent enough people to the board he has absolute power over anyway? Or do they want him to sell a debt-laden, middling club no one gives a fuck about at a massive loss?
