not at all. but less locals get kitted out in kits and hats than OOT's. its that whole 'come on kids get your shirt on, we're going the game' idea that does it.

Well Robbie I promise next time im over I won't buy anything from the Club Shop. One less OOT for you to worry about.

....won't work.

- because the OOT's will still insist on that traditional half time pie,

- forreigners insist on buying their shirts from the club shop so they can say 'this one is from anfield' when asked where they got their shirts back at home,

- the majority of income on a match day is from tickets and sponsors. the only thing we can do is stop buying ickets, will you do that? i don't think so.

but by all means do your best.

these lads have spent 500m to buy our club. they have pumped a fair few quid into our squad and what ever and we still try and tell them what to do. nobody likes being told what to do with their own possessions, imagine how you would feel spending that amount of money only to have tens of thousands of people trying to tell you what to do with it.

They have not spent a dime of their own money if they are able to secure the re-financing that's the whole point..... All net spending theis summer was done with a credit from the bank, which they now try to turn into a permanent loan on the club.......

Militant fans advising the OOTs and "foreigners" of the reason and means of the Boycott could have an effect.....

like it or not its their club. we are supporters, not actually a part of the club on our own. do you think they notice when we miss a game? bollocks. because they make enough from season tickets anyway.

same with barcelona. they only have a few thousands seats that arn't season tickets, therefor they don't need a sponser hence the unicef.

they get money from Acer I think and they also have one of the biggest deals in the world with nike to make the kit. Aswell as a massive ground.

anyone suggetsing qa boycott is talking bollox - please explain what a boycott will achieve?

It’ll hit them the only place these suckers can feel pain: In their pockets!

I don’t believe a boycott of matches would work. A shop++ boycott, however, may very well succeed.

everyone is running round with their head in the clouds. what everyone wants here is a reaction. right? yes, so how is 30% tops of fans not buying a coke or a hot dog going to work? they don't need our 4 quid. ok fair enough if a lot of people do it the 4 quids will soon add up but still not to the figures they are interested in. it would have to be a proper boycott ie. NO tickets. cancel all season tickets, don't buy ANYTHING from club shops and cancel subscriptions to the offal. and so on.

the whole underlying thing about OOT's and wools is doing my head in.

Its not the place and its certainly not the time. Every red whether a season ticket holder to people who dont even go have to stick together.

Its all we have.

Is right

"All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing."

We have to fight because it's our club, we are in the right and we have to do something. It might not be their biggest revenue but it's a start. If word gets round that fans are boycotting then perhaps other contributors, sponsors etc might realise that they won't get us buying their stuff out of sheer loyalty. Even if that's not the case it's about us doing it because we have to, for us!

everyone is using the yanks as whipping boys and its not on. they've baught the club fair and square, now we have to let them do as they please. no amount of crossing the road between the kop and the sandon is going to help. if we do a leeds its the fault of the boons who sold the club to them, not theirs. before they came we all knew that they didn't love the club, not even support the club so why do you expect loyalty from them? we are quite simply a money maker.
