can't agree 100% with that, I thought at times last night he was lacking the physical approach needed to put Ameobi to bed. But no complaints about the Carr-Agger partnership tho'.

Ameobi is a handful. He's big, strong, has a good touch and likes to use his elbows. Agger was never going to physically dominate him and win every ball, but overall he dealt with him really well.

The thing i have heard a lot is that they are still unsure about his defensive qualities :no obviously didn't watch the PSV game
