  1. I read an article in the telegraph yesterday it was an interview with the lawyer who made the complaint. I lost interest when I read that he is the defence lawyer for some Rwandan who is being tried for genocide.
  2. I'm not sure that this thread is a good indication of the way the red half of the world is thinking. I was quite open to AVB ( which I still think would have been a gamble) and the original Rafa. I thought that Capello, Van Gaal and Martinez were the wrong choices for different reasons. I can't help but think that FSG would have been influenced by Rafa's history of conflict with the board at Valencia, Us and Inter - whether right or wrong. They probably just decided to jib it based on the fact that there was conflict. Perhaps Rodgers will be the right choice it's a direction we've never chosen before , so for me it's a case of wait and see. The whole Kenny issue however has finally opened my eyes to the fact that the club I grew up with and it's relationship with the fans appears to have changed forever, so I'm not even sure if I will bother in the future.
  3. Oh FFS - why should they stump up the first requested amount ? It's not called negotiation for nothing.
  4. Says who? the press?, Sky? The club have said pretty much nothing during this process. Your choice of VG, Rafa, AVB and Capello is just that- your choice. AVB is pretty much still an unknown when it comes to the premier, Rafa ( the Rafa of 2005 to 2008 I would have welcomed back) Capello - maybe a bit distant in terms of the players as would possibly be Van Gaal. There's no denying Rodgers is a gamble but we shall need to wait and see. Any one of the names above could have succeeded or failed. I for one after last season believed Kenny couldn't fail in the league howw rong was that assumption?
  5. oh fuck off you drama queen. I loved Rafa of 2005 to 2008 but then he was sucked into the politics and that was a battle he was never going to win. The fans on here weren't responsible for his sacking they don't have that much power but if the rafa of 2005 was around I would have no problem with him taking the seat.
  6. Also gutted here, Sly sports having a field day. Not even sure if I can be bothered with the club any longer
  7. Nope I just decided logic was pointless when dealing with a stupid cunt.
  8. Because clubs who want to challenge don't sell their best players to their rivals or did that thought slip ur tiny mind? Oh and don't tell me ur not going to b small time when the majority of ur posts prove otherwise.
  9. WTF? It,s the players who are responsible for this shambles of a season but don't let that get in the way of you behaving like a moaning little child.
  10. Next time u go swimming take some of the other moaning fuckers with u and complete the fucking job. Why not fuck off and find another club to criticize.?
  11. You (like most us supporters ) probably know fuck all. Personally I wouldn't boo Torres but likewise I can't have a go at those who did. All that shite he wrote in his book was pretty meaningless in the end wasn't it and he followed that up with interviews after he left which belittled the club and supporters he ditched. BTW Carra didn't write out Torres transfer request did he? The one thing a lot of people can thank Torres for was in helping them realise that many of today's footballers have an affinity only with the cheque book and nothing else.
  12. I know I said that whenever I see your posts I get a picture of the guy in "Big Bang Theory" but reading this one why do I get a picture of the armless and legless black knight from Monty Python & The Holy Grail"?
  13. No you can't guarantee that he is happier, neither you or I know if that's true right now. Ask yourself why , rather than celebrating with his team mates, he spent 20 minutes in the losing dressing room after the game? He may have his winners medal but as a player he would want to be on the pitch from the start and he would want the same in Munich and I would say right now it's not even a given he will get on the pitch at anytime in Munich. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back in La Liga next season.
  14. No I do, you're a fairweather fan (note not supporter). Why do I always get a mental pic of the guy from "Big Bang Theory" when I read your posts?
  15. I've got no problem with voicing dissatisfaction. I'd have no argument with somebody saying "We were shite last night" them's the facts. What irks is the core of posters who continue ad-infinitum to spout what can only be described a FiFA FM based shite. "We shoulda signed him , we shoulda played him" etc. etc. without having any first hand knowledge of who we did or didn't try to sign, who we couldn't sign and why certain players weren't picked. At times we are actually playing some good football which if rounded off with somebody putting theball in the back of the net would certainly help us cross that fine line you talk about. You know, I've had too many great nights and days following this club I'm not giving up on them now in spite of our current problems. I believe we are not far away from the right mix.
  16. No I'm not, but I'm not going to be on here every 5 minutes slagging the club, the manager or players ( despite the fact that some of them deserve it purely for their attitude last night). IMO it's a fine line between where we are now and where we could be if we had taken our chances. Off the top of my head we should have beaten Arsenal, City, Utd, Norwich, West Brom, Blackburn & Sunderland ,if we'd only taken our chances, which would have put us comfortably in the top 4. I'm not blinkered, we still have a lot of improving to do to be title challengers and compounding this is the CL and wages issues which can be the major factor in whether a player wants to join us so we can't always get our first choice in.
  17. Cheering us on our way to failure isn't 'support', it's folly[/b]. You're welcome to carry on doing it though. Your words not mine
  18. B]Cheering us on our way to failure isn't 'support', it's folly[/b]. You're welcome to carry on doing it though. No doubt you switched your telly off at half time in 2005 then eh and you won't be cheering us on at Wembley? I was a regular - home and away - for many years. Still, you can treat me as if I'm from Taiwan, if you like No I'll treat you as the idiot I think you are. So Kenny admitted he got it wrong and it isn't he fault. Ace. .[/ Kenny said he was wrong for putting up the chance for some player's to stake a claim. Was it his fault that some of the players didn't seem to want to take it? I'd wager that you don't think anything is the manager's fault, but the fault of the last owners, or Comolli, or Clarke, or the players for joining, or Hodgson, or maybe even Rafa. All manager's make mistakes some more than others. If you can't see the link between where we are now and the last owners, you're even dumber than I think you are.
