City have looked vulnerable recently still not sure if us or arsenal got what it takes to beat them over a season though

Wish those pricks would fuck off.

This would be shaping up to be a decent title race between us and Arsenal and possibly one or two others. Unfortunately those cheats will have just that little bit extra to see them through injuries/fatigue.

I'm disappointed by the result but fair play to Arsenal there, they've got the same fight in them that we do. Going to be a couple of interesting games against them coming up.

Were did the ref find a minute added on on top of the 6 , there were no subs after 88 minutes

They didn't cross the ball in straight away either. As soon as they started fucking around with it (creating an angle according to Ally McCoist), he should've blown up.

Never going to happen. That last ball in was literally it. They never blow up in that situation

I thought the same last year. Spring is rarely kind to them, though.

City are not as good this season, might change when De Bruyne comes back but they are missing Gundogan and look to be more defensively frail. We are still a work in progress imo and will fall short - lack of a real quality DM will eventually hurt us over the season particularly covering our defensively weaker right side. We are doing remarkably well given the rebuild required in the summer but we aren't quite there.

Arsenal can win the league this year, but so can we. I wouldn't rule them out.

The next two games are crucial. Has to be 6 points. Build momentum going into the Mancs and Arsenal. Think Palace are missing quite a few for the weekend, so what might have been an awkward one simply has to be a routine three points. Sheffield are shite but tonight shows that if you're not on it, you can fuck up.

Think we have had the hardest start to the season so that should stand to us in the second half of the season.

It will be an interesting one. The absence of top level European football should give us a boost at some point if all three teams are still tight at the top. Isn't it the case that we skip the next round too? That said, we'll hopefully have the distraction of a league cup final.

I think Rodri is the main man by a distance in that City side. I wouldn't be overly concerned about De Bruyne's return as I think he's slightly past his best, and as you say, they still miss Gundogan.

Arsenal have done well with all those late winners. It shows a lot of balls. I still think it's easier done before Christmas though.

Must say, I got Odegaard wrong. I'm always cynical about these prodigies who we all hear about when they're 14 as they usually fail. Thought he was going to be another limp attacking midfielder for Arsenal like the 300 they've had since they last won a title. Brilliant footballer though, and a real leader.

I'm too biased to think we don't have enough, though!
