Arsenal bought well in the summer and we need to top ours up in January I feel. We are still a bit short for me in quality.

I think this is a fair comment. We know Matip and Thiago are going at the end of the season so let’s replace them in January. If we can bring two quality players in we can achieve something really big this season. No doubt about it.

Arsenal aren’t all that. Their collapse will be wonderful to watch.

Their fans probably look at us and say same.

For me both are clearly very good sides - but both have weaknesses that are not very far from surface - which side manages to control those issues best/gets a bit of luck around them/deals with them and fixes them best will challenge abu dhabi closest.

This is true. I’d say on the evidence of last season (and the fact they’re currently top) Arsenal have to be considered the better side, but I think we’ve probably had the harder set of fixtures so far.

Potential legbreaker on Townsend and the commentators are talking like Townsend committed the foul, checking for penalty. What the what now?

Glad it's not just me who was confused, I was expecting VAR to check for serious foul play, but they were checking a possible penalty offence? WTF?
