I reasonably like Anderson, I don’t think he’s got the pace necessary to play for us.

That’ll go down well with the club

I'm sure he can survive without without his LFCTV appearance money. He's everywhere at the moment.

Honestly I'm surprised people believe we bid with no communication with the agent. Just think tbe club got taken for a ride by them. The Chelsea deal was stagnant and it forced their hand to hurry it up. Think that's what the agent played for. Highly doubt we just bid and hoped.

The club needs to show some ambition. The players need help. We've had a good start to the season and all of a sudden things are looking promising. 

 

I'll be amazed if we do actually buy anyone decent, but fingers crossed...

We haven't hit the busy period yet. Wait until theres three matches a week.

Why would we wait this close to the end of the window to sign players when the selling club will struggle to replace them. If we do sign someone I think its more likely to be players who aren't that vital to their team.

 

Times running out. Another DM type player and a defender. Anything less and its another pathetic transfer window from a club that just wants to tick along, wasting the time we have left with Klopp. Its creating more work that will need to be done next summer which obviously we won't do.

Brinksmanship happens every window. Some teams are good at it some teams end up signing players like Steven Caulker, Ben Davies, Ozan Kabak and Arthur.

It's hard not to be annoyed, be told we've a lot of work to do, we were "surprised" by the extent of the work we needed to do and thats before the thought of Fabinho and Henderson leaving was on the horizon.
