The fullbacks and midfield three were dreadful in the first half which subsequently had a knock on effect to the front three.

At half time I was still confident in getting through but I wanted Naby, Jota and Robbo off but I'm glad Kloop isn't as overreactive.

Honestly though, whilst acknowledging we were appalling in the first half anyone would think we were losing the tie overall, BT couldn’t contain their glee at such an upset, the twats.

It was a better viewing experience for the neutral than the city v Madrid game the week before, but we didn't hear that opinion.

In the end, Villarreal were only fit enough for one half of intense football. That's what you get.

Didn’t realise it was physically possible to drink a beer as slowly as Carragher does in that video.

Haha. The eyes rolling in his head too. It's like an outtake from the last Partridge series.

The second half was so good. We had it all to lose, we had all the weight of expectation on us, the crowd were hyper, the pitch was drenched, their players were ready to play through the pain barrier, our confidence was crumbling, and yet we took back control and ended up comfortable. In its own way it was as impresssive as the Barca game IMHO.

Unsuccessful in the ballot. Gutted. Probably not all bad, as the way things are shaping up I'd probably have had to swim over.

There were over 1m applications for Madrid.

With only 10k available, I don’t think the odds were particularly generous!

Sounds like a myth. There’s no apply option on the website unless you meet the criteria. Plus why would you apply if you clearly don’t meet the criteria of attended previous games?

On the UEFA Ballot. There is no criteria on those.

Ah I see, pointless applying there like.

I got my tickets for Istanbul from there, so not entirely pointless... Though after the long trek out there and that first half, I was wondering...

My Dad got one through that ballot for Kiev. I’ve seen a couple of Twitter posts suggesting a few have been successful for Paris.

Why has Balague come dressed as a day time TV antiques expert?

How the fuck did Micah Richards get to be a pundit.  He's an annoying cunt who is thick as pig shit. Or was that what they wanted?

There are differing points of view and then there are annoying cunts who I can't bear listening to at all. He is definitely the latter.

Precisely.  I'm all for different points of view and decent arguments from pundits but Richards is a grinning moron.
