Marmalade. What side of the wall do you stand?

My wife was most pleased when she procured this interesting sounding mysterious "Orange jam from England" when she was at university. She is Ukrainian hence not being familiar with Marmalade. Anyway, she saved it for when a friend was visiting and they tucked in only to be severely disappointed with how bitter it was.

And yes I like marmalade. In fact I was hoping to go to Dalemain marmalade festival before Covid 19 put a stop to that.

 

I’m a bit seasonal about it. I eat it on my toast through the winter, it’s also very good on Hot Cross Buns, but hardly touch the stuff when it’s warmer

I've probably mentioned this before but my mate who is black & has a big afro has commandeered the golliwog. He has them all over his house & a big suction one in his car window.

 

One day we were walking towards his car & two honky fucks were standing looking at the golliwog in the window, shaking their heads & tutting away, should've seen their faces when he jumped in the driver seat. One of those daft moments that makes life worthwhile.
