Lads I've taken the DeLorean forward to 8 o'clock tomorrow evening and all I can say is we had a good run.

I'm not sure how long Mo will be out whilst he has his head removed from arse either!

What I am starting to realise is that we are actually, really, very good.

I've had imposter syndrome up to now, believing that we are riding high and it won't last. But imagine playing against us. Sure we will have blips, but we need to believe. We are a very good team, with a strong squad and a world class manager.

Yes City and Spurs are very good. But so are we. They'll be as worried about us as we are of them.

I remember a few years ago watching a Man City vs Liverpool match and I think it may have been when Javier Mascherano downed tools. City had players on the field that were in their pomp (Yaya Toure was amongst them) and we were absolutely taken apart by them. It really was men against boys. I remember feeling quite down about it as it seemed like we were further away from where we had been in the past and there was no way we were going to close that gap again.

The last few matches it has been like watching that Man City team. We are literally making teams against us look like little boys. It's been a long time coming and by no means are we the finished article but the more I see this team play the more I think that Spurs and City will look at this team in the same way I looked at City's team back then.

Doubters into believers is definitely beginning to produce results.

Edit: I can't help but feel the turning point was when Sergio Ramos took Salah out and stole our best player on the day and this hurt the team so much that the performances we are seeing now is the result of that hurt. Boys have become men.

Good to hear Oh, Campione and Poetry in Motion given an airing today - songs that are connected to two nearly seasons.

I hope we can reclaim them as victory songs.

Also heard A Liverbird Upon My Chest - my favourite.

Great atmosphere - it must be fantastic in that ground at the moment.
