We usually open 1 each and leave the rest until the morning mate.  A lot over here in Ireland still do midnight mass still though I haven't in years.  Pubs are usually buzzing on Christmas eve but I stopped going a few years ago as it just gets too busy for me now.  We usually have a a bit to eat on Christmas eve and a few beers in the house.  If lucky a neighbour will land over at us with a bottle of Poitin which will get demolished!  Christmas morning get up get the prezzies unwrapped and get the dinner going.  Usually rotate either having the Mrs folks over for dinner or heading down to my folks.

Aye, always best to to do what suits I say. It must be over 25 years since I went to the pub either Christmas eve or Christmas day.

Wake up

Open presents

Have a fry up

Crack open a can

Go the pub about 12

Back home about 2

Crack open a can

Have my dinner

Watch a bit of tele

Drink shit loads

Have a turkey butty

Stick a quiz game on the PS

Struggle to see the screen due to drink

Lose the game and accuse everyone of being cheating cunts

Drink more

Go to bed and get swerved by my bird for a quick shag

Fall asleep

Merry Christmas

I used to like a few beers on Xmas eve and always sought to take it easy but went too far one time, I pissed the bed and was so hungover I couldn't touch my dinner. Pre wife and kids I also enjoyed a few Xmas day afternoon pints, it was the days when all you could smell was cigar smoke. Not now though, rarely go the pub anyway so couldn't be arsed queuing for ages.

Pubs closed in Ireland on Christmas day so in all my 44 years I've never had the privilege.  We keep threatening to go to my in-laws in North Wales for Christmas but with the new arrival have put it off for yet another year (Result!).  But next year we'll have to go, so I'll definitely go the pub then just for the novelty of having a pint on that most holy of commercial days.

None of my wife’s family drink so Christmas at her mums can be dull. My niece will be 17 the next time we spend Christmas down with them, I’m dragging her to the pub. They already all hate me so nowt to lose.
