Mayweather - McGregor

I absolutely love boxing and I don't watch a lot of MMA (hardly any, actually) but I would love McGregor to shock the world and wipe the smug arrogant faces off so many boxers and boxing fans.

This is what it's getting down to, people really want to see one of these cunts lose. I'd love to see that prick McGregor lose but would hardly be devastated if Mayweather lost.

I'm not a big Mayweather fan, never have been and although McGregor is obviously a tit I do find him entertaining.

But as I said earlier, it's the smug attitude from boxing as a whole that i'm not impressed by.

Different for me. I prefer McGregor over Mayweather any day of the week but I dont want McGregor to win really. It would make a mockery of boxing (it already is to be fair). It would be funny for about a day until everyone woke up and realised that puglism as we know it is a fucking disgrace. I reckon i'd start watching it less and less if he lost. Not arsed about MMA or UFC though. Bores me.

Canelo routinely does that and is sometimes thought to be a bit heavier still. There'll be a bit longer than 24 hours too. They'll weigh in early afternoon on Friday and fight late Saturday night.

Just water weight though mate, yeah? I'm assuming the plan for McGregor is to be in the 170s, drain himself in the days before the weigh in, then rehydrate?

Anybody got more info on this?

I'm not too clued up on it to be honest. Just repeating what I've read elsewhere over the years. Boss and Clarence will be able to explain it better.

That's exactly what he will do. Same as every fighter cutting weight, especially in MMA and College wrestling. He will stop drinking 24hrs or so before the weigh in. Hit the suana in plastics and dehydrate 15lbs or so off. Hit the scales and rehydrate
