When I watched horrors I watched it and some it is absolutely gruesome as they use live animals to kill. If you don't like gore then stay well away.

Yeah. Nowhere near as good as Holocaust which kind of has a point, but they're both as nasty as each other.

 

If you're squeamish about real animal torture I'd give it a wide berth.

I seem to remember a similar movie (found footage) to Cannibal called something like 'Jersey Devil'. This preceded Blair Witch and was better IMO.

If you have no intention of watching the original, very much so. It's a good film, just a bit pointless if you've seen the original.

Fuck this thread reminded me they actually remade the Thing.

 

I don't watch many horror days these days unless it's with the bird and she likes all them shite jump horrors. All I did from 13-20 was watch horrors, no matter when and where they were from. These days I get a bit squirmy watching some of the older stuff.

The Thing From Another World is a cracking piece of 50s paranoia, definitely worth watching. The prequel isn't quite the disaster is could of been, serviceable, but it's the sort of film you won't watch more than once.

 

Carpenter's film is the best by a distance in my opinion.
