Have/Could you cheer a ManUre goal?

City play Utd away and then Arsenal away. I'd much rather they lost the Utd game than the Arsenal game as Arsenal have a handy run in so I think we'll need the 6 point gap assuming we can win our 2 upcoming home games.

I wouldn't be "cheering" on Utd per se, but I certainly want them to win. It's a win win game in fact as no matter what the score, I can take good from it, but there's no question that the best result is a Utd win. I hate Utd as much as the next man, but it seems very odd to me that a Liverpool fan would rather Utd lost when you think the affect a Utd win could have on our chances of a first title in 24 years.

Surely being a Liverpool fan is about wanting what's best for Liverpoool first and foremost?

And whenever I see a fella at the game with a Utd jersey saying "I 8 ManU" or "ABU" on the back, I want to take their ticket off them and ensure they never get into Anfield ever again.

Anyone who wants anything other than a United win from that game tomorrow needs to have a word with themselves.

We've got a title to win so I'll be cheering on every mediocre mid-table side when they play our rivals.

Exactly. How can people put their results before ours? Man Utd win tomorrow and the league title is back in our hands.

No one is Tom. I'm not saying I'll be supporting Utd that's all . I'll get something out of it whatever the result is. I think Citeh will drop points elsewhere along the way.  None of the top three will will all their remaining games and I believe 85/86 points will probably be the magic number

Yeah, but I still want Utd to win tomorrow. They are no threat to us at all and City quite clearly are.
