If we are going to spend 20m, we could do a lot worse than Carlos Vela. Compared to Rossi, he would at least be available for match day selection.

 

I dont think you are going to get Vela for 20 million.

 

They have just paid 12 million to remove Arsenals option to buy him on the cheap which on top of 3 million or so they initially paid wont leave a huge amount of profit.

 

They have also sold Griezmann this transfer window so not desperate to sell players.

There's a few positions like it. Johnson would be the one I'd be looking to sell from that list.

 

Centre back is another were we are over stocked.

Coates.

 

I'd 100% be shopping about Agger, Coates and Skrtel. But only sell one of Agger/Skrtel.

 

Toure is pointless selling him to be fair as we'd only be selling for £1-2m tops. Ilori should be loaned out again if we can't sell any of them.

 

Realistically we could still make quite a bit of money selling our dead wood or players who won't be first choice and can still demand a decent fee.
