Suarez

Gerrard

They were in different class. The 3rd player can be anyone but i'll go for...

Reina

Not entirely back to his best, but he looks leaner and meaner and this was his 6th clean sheet in his last 10 league matches, and a huge save that denied Sunderland a way back into the match.

Honourable mentions to the rest of the team, including the subs.

Yeah, I'll go with these three as well. Whole team was good though.

Guest San Don

1, Suarez

2, Skrtel

3, Agger

Henderson would have been number 2 if he'd played on the whole game (dont know why he was taken off, effects of illness?)

Special mention for Wisdom too who had a good game imo.

Almost a perfect performance, really hard to pick as they all performed Admirably.

1) Suarez - Is there anymore cliche's left to describe him with?

2) Gerrard - His grown into that deep lying position IMO in the last few games, some superp passing and got forward too.

3) Hendo - The lad is playing with some fire in his belly finally, brings a huge amount of energy to the midfield and attack, some really good play from him, amazing what a player can do when played in his correct position eh?

The rest played excellent including the subs, unlucky for Allen not to get a goal but he was a livewire in his cameo!
