Klopp mentioned that Origi, Ings and Henderson just might make an appearance on Sunday. Other than that, this is pretty much a distraction to the final on Wednesday. Fully expect Ojo, Benteke and co to do okay though.

Here we go. Considering our first two home games are against Man City and Arsenal, there is a certain degree of pressure we get all three points here on Saturday. I am confident we will do that as well. Gerrard and Suarez seem to be in a good place at the moment, and I think we'll be too strong for the not really improved West Brom. Pepe Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique Lucas Allen Downing Gerrard Borini Suarez 0-2

How far has Rodgers team come from our last league game there? I would go with the same team as Tuesday. Their defence is weak, especially Lugano who is the slowest defender in the league. Reasonably strong in Midfield, but with Anelka and Anichebe up front, they have fuck all to offer. Their best player is that Berahino kid and Pepe Mel hasn't started him yet. Or Sessegnon for that matter. It's funny, I'd be more worried if he started Sessegnon and Berahino but he will probably go for Anelka and Anichebe or just one of the latter two. Saido Berahino 8 Morgan Amalfitano 2 Nicolas Anelka 2 Chris Brunt 2 Gareth McAuley 2 Stéphane Sessegnon 2 I have…

Well we all know. It's gonna be shit. They're just the type of shite we struggle against. Last week's 3 points was massive and puts us in a great position. The teams behind might be able to catch us if they win their games in hand (maybe that's just the mancs now?), but none of them go at 3 points a game and all the top 6 are playing each other. I think another 3 points on Sunday and we've got top 4. Although if 4th is enough for CL remains to be seen.

0-0, anyone? I really wanted to start with Benteke and Sturridge in this to see if it helped with our attacking issues at Anfield. I think I would start with Origi and Benteke though. Mignolet Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno Lucas Henderson, Milner Coutinho Benteke, Origi I'd bring Can on for Lucas if the game appears to be one of those games at Anfield where Lucas's defensive mind is not really required. Firmino can sit this one out.

Huge game. Quite simply, anything less that three points is unacceptable. A good performance to go along with a win would do everybody the World of good as well. It's mad to think for a change that we could do with an International break. Be a good time to regroup and hopefully when we return, we might have some of last seasons regulars up to scratch as at the moment we're being forced to embed too many new players at once. Diamond is a must. Mignolet Manquillo, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno Gerrard Henderson, Coutinho Lallana Sterling, Balotelli.

Is Coutinho back? If not, then Allen into the middle in place of Moses. Or go back to formation on the first day v Stoke where Aspas was more or less up top with Sturridge and Henderson was central, yet slightly right. With Moses moving left. The Newcastle point isn't the end of the World on paper but if we don't win here, it will be more on the 'two points dropped' side. West Brom are horrible to play against, just ask the Mancs. I really want a good team performance here and not just the reliance on a piece of brilliance and sit tight.

Home during late September and early October. Hoping to take me ma to the game for her birthday. She doesn't get to go much these days. If anyone's got a couple of tickets going spare, I'd be the most grateful.

Good luck Roy. You were never a Liverpool manager in a million years, but no hard feelings.

A trip to the Black Country before the Romans visit Anfield and receive a reception not seen since, well my Roman history is poor, so someone will have to fill in whether it was Celts, Moors, Barbarians or scallies. Three points against Darren Moore's side would in all inevitably seal fourth, and to be fair our sights may be set higher given Spurs dropped points today. Reckon Clyne will get a start. Get in, get out and get home and bring on an European Cup semi-final Tuesday. Oh, and no way we should be playing these three times in one year and not winning at least one game.

We've had our win at last. Thank fuck. And so onto a quick turnaround and playing West Ham and the Moyseiah. I am strangely pretty confident about this one. I always felt the best time to play Moyes Everton was when their tales were up and I am hoping this will be no different. It feels a really quick turn around - and I guess it is. I wonder if the team have had the option to stay down in London? I am guessing not with all the covid restrictions - but if we're staying over the night before, hopefully it will be in familiar surroundings after yesterday and it will help us mentally. So on to the team - just fuck knows at the back. Klopp has apparently ruled Fa…

Seeing as I have two 1-0 victories in a row to my belt, I may as well start this thread too. As lets not kid ourselves, we'd all jump at the chance to come away with three points on Sunday. 1-0 or 4-3. Fat Sam and his teams are never easy to beat at their place, and after thumping Chelsea last weekend, they will be full of confidence. Not to ignore the fact we are missing our top goalscorer and star striker. If we get three points here, we have a great chance of actually making ground on - believe it or not - third place over the next few weeks. A lot of the teams in front of us play each other, so they will obviously be dropping points some way or another, and we…

I thought usher was doing these threads now? You can't trust anyone. So a.7.30, that'll catch a few people out who will be expecting 8pm. Unfortunately, I can't make tonight and probably won't get to see it till a rerun later as I'm at a function I can't get out of in London and I'm not expecting them to have the match on! So we need to carry on from Sunday and treat every minute like it matters. I think there's been times this season when we've been too casual across the team and that can't come back just because this isn't Man City. I dunno what I'm expecting team wise to be honest. I am sure he will want to rotate a couple at least…

Fucking Monday nights. They're the fucking curse of football. I think I hate them even more than the early Saturday kickoffs. But it's just 5 more wins to go, so we just need to get this scratched off and done. They look absolutely shite. For me maybe even gone backwards under Moyes. I know it wasn't great before, but a lot of that was down to the shambles of a keeper they had. We've a few days after this match before the next one, so I expect klopp to go as strong as possible. With Henderson injured, I reckon he'll be replaced by Chamberlain. Although he looks like he's still missing some spark since that injury. I'm.expecting a goo…

Back when we used to be allowed to go the match, 5.30 on a saturday was always my favourite. Get out for a few before the game, maybe all day depending on the other matches on, then out after - a few near the ground, then head to town and keep on going to till can barely walk. And as it's halloween i wouldn't even get it in the neck as her and the kids like to go out trick or treating which i refuse to get involved with. Have duck apple like i did as a kid you americanised little bastards. So onto this one, which is going to be nothing like that at all. Another fucking miserable one. The pubs are shut, the kids are going to be fuming as they can't trick or tr…

I don't want to see Agger playing this match. West Ham will be a threat at set plays and have many physical players, two things which Agger struggles with. I don't think Skrtel has played that well in the last two games either, so I would pick Toure and Sakho, who I believe are our best two centre backs and can cope with West Ham best. I don't mind Allen playing, but I don't want to see him DM. Thought he really struggled against Diame in that role last season getting brushed a side by him. I'd have Lucas in that role. For me if Allen plays it is as a box to box midfielder or not at all. I'd go: --------------------------------Mignolet-----------------…

Back to porridge. There is every potential we could limp to another low-scoring draw here. West Ham are strong at the back and are capable of punishing on the counter as well. I'd play Gerrard against Bolton instead. Sturridge from the bench. Mignolet; Can, Skrtel, Sakho; Markovic, Lucas, Henderson, Moreno; Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling.

Surely this has to be a home win? West Ham are shite and we should hump these. Only question is who comes in in place of Lucas? Does he go attacking with Raul and Stevie in the middle with Dirk and Torres in a 442? Or are we likely to see Poulson and lots of face palms in a 451?

Rumours that West Ham are about to give up their rights on the Olympic stadium. They've not offered any defence to accusations of corruption.

I know it's a fair bit away but I've started this now because you can buy tickets in the West Ham end with no previous credits required, so if you fancy stifling cheers and singing the odd rendition of Forever Blowing Bubbles then this might be the one for you. I'll fit in like with them lot and obviously some of you won't but I just thought i'd give you a heads up! Event Chooser Nice one!
