Looking back at this, Mayhem from the minute I walked to Goodison till after walking out of the replay at Maine Road. Never seen violence like this at 2 games. But just love the goal by Ronnie Whelan.

Trying to get a stream this eveining and all I got was a fucking virus called 'Smart Fortress 2012'. Now I used VIP on Saturday, got a decent stream and had no problems, tonight was a different matter. Just wanted to give you all the heads up as for a technoprat like me it was a cunt to sort out. Big thanks to md and scangacarra.

Contains obnoxious amounts of spreadsheets, graphs, and numbers, plus a picture of Sterling in a City shirt. Still a fascinating read, well researched and detailed. If numbers bore you don't follow the link. http://swissramble.blogspot.ch/2015/09/manchester-city-i-threw-brick-through.html

As we all know warrior will be making our new tops for the next 6 years. Just as a matter of interest. To the people in the know, is there any release date for us to see the new gear, or will we have to wait until the day they take over from Adidas? I have to admit I'm itching to see what warrior have come up with

Now one thing i always noticed about Glen was that hes very attacking minded and a poor Defender. Truth is i like others see him as a ideal Winger. But tonight i saw a new side to him which was exciting to see i saw him Defending and making World class tackles. And not so much attacking seeing this got me thinking this side of his game is better than the one he normally displays. He didnt light it up and wasnt really noticed people say he had a bad game. But thats because he played a different game, I think he was Sending out a message to say im a very good defender trust me with these duties. I wonder if Roy spotted something in training no one ever had before. That new …

I have watched it a lot of times and still find it hard to decide, but I have now concluded that it is not a penalty because (1) the attacking player initiates contact and (2) agree with Dave U 100%. Where two players come together like that I think the benefit of the doubt should go to the defender. A penalty decision often influences the final result, as it did here, so the benefit of the doubt goes to the defender in my book. At 5-0 I wouldn't have cared, at 1-0 I care beared a lot. They say that the attacking team should get the benefit of the doubt when there is a tight offside call, so to even things up should the defender not get the benefit of the doubt for…

Anyone else listen to this ? About the downfall of footballers mainly through drug taking. Why do some footballers seem to waste their natural talent? We hear from some who have, including former Dutch international Andy Van der Meyde and ex Liverpool player Michael Kinsella. The former Hull manager Phil Brown also talks about players he's managed who have thrown away a lucrative career. 1st episode last night. BBC Radio 5 live - 5 live Sport, Wasted - Part 1 Will post a link to the second part soon as it's up. Well worth a listen.

it was about the two greatest teams ever LFC and Man Utd and the rivalry behind them. Steven Gerrard was there and pointing out all the previous managers and in his words "This is the King the greatest player ever to wear the Liverpool shirt" However there was a point made by Paddy Crerand that he never understood where all this bitterness came from between Man Utd and LFC and in his days because of the Matt Busby and Bill Shankly connection if Utd couldnt win something they wanted Liverpool to win it and Visa versa. Basically the program was saying it really started because LFC fans couldnt handle that Man Utd were a more glamorous (or egotistical club) than …

Which channels in the US show any decent (european) football? Is it usually broadcast live or at a more suitable time of day? Preferably Premier League, but Spanish, German, French or Italian top flight would also be great. I'm in Austin, Texas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Been thinking about going down at watching a game at the Academy for a while. Just seen the u18's play Chelsea the same day we play Wigan at Anfield & thought it would be a good day to go. Do you have to book tickets or be invited or anything or can you just rock down and watch the game? Also, is it frowned upon if you break into the facilities and have a snoop about?

I'm assuming that the usual sites don't work on an ipad as they're flash links. I don't have an ipad, but when I did it wouldn't play flash links. Is this still the case?

...besides the obvious help of course, I'm in Edinburgh tomorrow for the game and in case the place doesn't have a pub showing the game, I have an iPad to watch it on in my hotel room. Being new to iPads, I need some pointers - where can I get a file sharing site that works on these things? I am aware that I may be being clueless. But I genuinely am clueless with Apple. Bloody Steve Jobs. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance Alternatively if anybody knows of anywhere in Edinburgh that is showing it let me know! Bloody Scotland......(joke!)

I'm currently writing this from the West African country of Gabon. I leave here late tonight and get back to Dublin on Friday afternoon. I then leave Dublin on Sunday afternoon to head to LA for more work commitments. So that's where I'll be when the mighty reds kick off in yet another European final. So my fairly obvious question is - where can I watch it? I've added a map below of where I'm staying if this helps any LA folk on here?

I used to use tvlinks.eu to watch everything but it has gone to shit. Can someone recommend a good site to watch TV shows on (Game of Thrones is what I'm watching at the moment, halfway through season 2)? Thanks.

Watching UK TV from abroad tip...or for those wanting to get onto Hula.

For anybody living outside the UK and want to watch UK TV. You can also use it for Hula which is a USA site with loads of good programmes/series etc. Just set the server location to USA instead of UK. Add DotVPN extension to Google Chrome, I've been using it for a while and it works fine, is really quick, not resource heavy and is virus free. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dotvpn-free-and-secure-vp/kpiecbcckbofpmkkkdibbllpinceiihk?hl=en I have personally created accounts for BBC I player, ITV player, Ch 4 on demand and Ch 5 and they all work perfectly fine. Another good site to use for your basic channels is the following. http://tvplayer.com/

Well I am not looking forward to this. It's got everything that is shit about modern football attached to it. 12.30 on a Saturday. International break before it. Players missing due to international break. Some of them not even allowed to play even of they wanted to. And to cap it all, Watford will have a new manager bounce as they welcome their 2nd and probably not their last manager of the season. These have looked absolutely shit up to now. And we should expect a win. But what kind of preparation have we had. I wonder if klopp will use a lot of players who have not been away - especially with a big CL game ahead and a trip to Salford next weekend. So I rec…

4 more wins. Or 11 more draws. I think I prefer wins. Watford seem to have lost some of that bounce since Pearson joined, but I think they still have a pretty useful team. Our match after this is Chelsea in the cup, where I expect we will go with fringe players and kids. So my expectation is pretty strong again for this one, with the only real questions being around the setup of the midfield. For me I think I would maybe go with fabinho, Chamberlain and milner. That's not knocking Gini, I just want to see milner in the side (if fit, apparently he had a slight muscle problem on Monday) to provide some leadership, which I thought was lacking on Monday. If milne…
