I predict Mayweather Vs Pacquiao will finally happen and be a really dull points win for Mayweather by about 5 rounds. Kovalev Vs Stevenson won't happen. Fury Vs Klitschko will be set and then Klitschko will get injured and Fury will say he's terrified of him. Eternal optimist, me.

Seetha Hallett from one of those channel 4 property shows. Lose the wombat love and you'd get it twice with the same hard on.

So, in real life, you have to be a party member to vote for your choice of Labour leader. But this is the GF and such procedural niceties can go fuck a baboon. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-32654262 Who do you want to win and why? (Please vote responsibly. This may be constitutionally binding.)

There was a similarly named thread a little while back but it didnt feel the appropriate place for this post (if you do a search you'll see why!) I have toyed with posting on here about this on and off over the past few months but always decided against it until now...and even as I write this I'm wondering if I'm doing the right thing. It is not about sympathy. I was diagnosed with depression a few months ago. This is my first experience of this illness and I wondered what experiences others might have/have had and what has and has not worked for them with the idea that these experiences might be helpful for others. In brief, depression crept up on me towards th…

Just a little thread for those of us who appreciate stuff at the other end of the scale from the more popular (on here, at least) rock side of things. So, to get us started, Gilles' show this week is a tribute to John Lucien and Max Roach who both died last week. It's jazz-tastic. Nice. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/gillespeterson/index.shtml

Single bastards like me, tell us about upcoming dates and then how shit they went afterwards. Chevettehs I want to hear about yours please. I was pretty pleased with myself scoring 2 dates in the week that just passed (which may have been more than the rest of the year put together). The first is a girl called Carol that I met in a nightclub in Milton Keynes. Despite a rather bizarre non-interest in Black women my entire life (not sure why) I was mesmerised by her awesome African hair and subsequently realised she was pretty. She asked for my number and called me the next day (not sure if I remember this ever happening before). Went to meet her at her uni and onl…

OK. Seeing as the landlord of this place fancies a pig, we might as well all come clean (no pun intended) and admit to some objects of desire that maybe others would not find so tasty (I like bacon Dave, so this doesn't include yours). I'll kick us off with Ray's missus in Everybody loves Raymond.

Watched my mother die in my arms today. sooner they find a cure for this horrible bastard fucking disease the better. Watching someone suffering in that way is unbearable for everyone. My heart goes out to anyone that has suffered in any way through cancer. the nurses at st davids hospice are angels. god bless them.

Don't even know were to start but have made it because we were talking about making a separate thread in the Israel one, mainly after ISIS was mentioned. Didn't want to just focus on ISIS though when there's several other ongoing problems in the whole area, and a general middle east thread might be less confusing over time.

Anybody had a dabble? If you put £100 in Bitcoin 10 years ago, you'd be a millionaire now If you put £500 in five years ago, you'd be a millionaire now I put £750 in Crypto including Bitcoin 5 weeks ago and it's now worth £1500. Anybody else involved?

Listened to this Guardian Podcast before : Guardian Focus Podcast: Examining the British far right | World news | guardian.co.uk In England the far right seem a bit of a joke, I can't ever see the BNP or EDL taking off seriously. But in the likes of France and the Netherlands, it looks like it is gathering more support. And unlike Nick Griffin, I get the impression a lot of people in, say, France see the likes of Marine Le Pen as a credible politician. So, what do you think of it then? Where is it going to end? Will we see another openly fascist country in Europe anytime soon?

I used to think Scotland would be making a mistake by leaving the UK but the more I think about it, the more it would make sense for Scots to vote for independence. The biggest plus point of independence would be to be free of the Tories - forever. Doesn't get better than that. There's a few more benefits of independence and some drawbacks I suppose but getting rid off Cameron's mob is worth a 'Yes' vote alone.

Through sheer boredom, and hearing it mentioned a few times, I've just joined it. Anyone else on it? If so, what do you actually do?

I reckon the Cameron "we're all in this together" thread doesn't cut the mustard anymore and that TM deserves her very own thread where we can pick the bitch apart on her hollow promise.

This thread is to discuss past or present injuries/diseases and to ask for advice on them. So, what is bothering you? At the minute the skin on one side of the middle finger of my right hand is very tender. Hurts like a bitch whenever I touch it. I've noticed today, on the skin right next to the nail, is a little green spot the size of a pin prick. Is this infected? Will it kill me? Will it make me more virile and manly? I need answers.

A site search threw up neko's Gardening thread but that's way to serious for me and I cant even dream to match his professional skills but I do love my garden. Maybe there are others out there who feel the same way or are just putting their toe in the water..... Anyway, we've had a good day today and I've been out continuing my Spring clear up but its really noticeable how far behind things are compared even to last year. I'm planning to replant the bottom of our garden and bulk out some of the other borders that are looking a bit lost at the moment. My veggies were a washout last year but if the weather brightens up in the next week or two I may put some of …
