Interesting that, yeah it looks like Stevie wasn't too happy about him shitting out and he's pointing out this is ' Fukien English football lid'.

How was that shitting out? He ran headlong into a challenge against an international centre back and left the bitter twat in a heap. Gerrard was encouraging a touch of aggression.

Was Alberto injured then or is he just not trying in training? A shame if so because I like the look of him.

Oh well, his loss. There's always someone ready to step up and take your place if you're not putting the effort in and Rodgers certainly doesn't seem the type to put up with half-arsed-ness.

I don't think Alberto has done much wrong; more a case of Rodgers trying to play it fair by giving every promising player his chance. Alberto has had his albeit brief appreances and did pretty well and Fulham was Tix's turn and he seems to have done even better. Too early to make the call but both players seem to have a future with us if they continue developing in the right direction; we could keep both and Suso as well.  Sterling (and Flanagan) are paving the way for the new wave of talent at Anfield and Tixi/ Suso are following close behid. Exciting times for a Liverpool fan, eh.

I thought it was very similar to a number of Alberto's cameos in terms of his tidy use of the ball, but he looked far more mobile and dynamic.

In the context of your first appearance, being sent into a crucial game that's on a knife age, away, with only a sliver left, it was the perfect toe in the water really.

Maybe he'll get his legs wet over the next few weeks.

Was very impressed, he looked like a player who had played higher tier football before.

But he poses the question where does Coutinho, Suso, Alberto and him fit in the team?

The way I see it, Suso and Tex are naturally more central midfield player or where they like to play. Whereas Alberto and Countinho are like number 10's or play further upfront, but we have these four young players, all of whom wont get game time and wont develop as a result, so it might be a case that one or two might be sold on possibly.

Kid looks boss. Wonder if we will get Suso back?

I heard Suso had gone off the boil a bit and was out the team, but he played well in their victory over Athletico apparently so hopefully he's back on the up.

I rate him very highly and hope to see him back with us next season.

Me too.

Hopefully we'll be needing a bigger squad anyway.
