Anti H&G candidate's

I'm not from the UK so not sure how it works but I do know theres a general election in the UK this year and was wondering would it be an idea to put up a few Anti H&G candidates to run in merseyside or approach existing candidates and get it to be the main part of there campaign, especially in the Anfield and Walton areas which are the ones been most effected by the owners, it might help, its gotta.

It cant be to expensive, a couple of fundraising nights should go along way to paying for starting a campaign,if he gets elected the benfits will outway the cost of getting him there.

Excellent idea. Good use of funds. The lost deposit wouldn't be too much of an issue, but the real cost is leaflets etc. I'd be willing to contribute.

If he decides to go for it, we can come up with a few fundraising ideas to help along the way, any sensible red wherever there from can spare even a couple of quid for this. I doubt fundraising will be a problem.

I don't think there is a deadline, you just need a small number of people to put you forward. About a dozen or so.
