Especially strikers.

I mean what happens if Nemeth, Pacheco, Brouwer, Simon, Flora, Ecclestone, Pourie, Amoo, Saric, Dalla Valle and Weijl all die in a plan crash?

Then we are left a little light upfront, we cant risk that.

Lindfield as lone striker.

We'll shit 'em.

Well... If he's that good then why not?

If he's as "good" as the last Brazilian forward we signed we should give this one a wide berth.

How come he's got to 19 yet no one has heard of him. Isn't he supposed to be the next big thing in Brazil?

Don't ask me. I haven't heard of him but if Barca are knocking on the door and our staff rates him as first team potential then why WOULDN'T we?

So we should sign him partly because Barcelona are supposedly interested in him?

I'll be happy for people to dig up this thread in 2-3 years' time to tell me I was wrong.

NEXT!

this report is based on an article in Portugal that suggests we have 'won' the race for him but the figures sound crazy and probably wrong so I dont know how reliable it is. some of the Spanish press are also saying we have 'won' the race.

Keirrison Carneiro de Souza is ready to land in Europe. The talented 19 years old striker of Curitiba, nicknamed "K9" is similar to Romario and Ronaldo (in their better days ...), and has attracted the attention of many European clubs, Valencia, Barcelona and Liverpool above all.

But according to Portuguese newspaper Record, his agent seems to have accepted the offer of the Reds, leaving the others high and dry.

Palermo seemed to be one of the most interested clubs, but the "disorder" brought by the Russians of CSKA Moscow last week must have thrown the rosanero team, Cska, in fact, had offered to Traffic, a company that holds the card of Keirrison, 12 million euros. A figure still considered important but insufficient. Now there is the new onslaught of Liverpool, who apparently have won the player for 18 million.

There is confusion surrounding the player: last week the player had signed a pre-contract with Palmeiras, now new rumours put him in Europe. We'll see how this story develops in the coming weeks.

Wow, a genuine very expensive Brazillian wonderkid...

Wish we'd been so bold when we we're after Aguero. Hope he's going to be our Pato!

*This probably won't happen anyway, as if we have 12 million to spunk on a 19 year old striker after just buying Keane and Torres.

Ok, has anyone seen him play or even heard of him? Maldini is usually well up on this kind of thing. Can anyone give us the lowdown on him, are we talking Pato or Flora?

Ive not heard of him, and Im pretty good at finding the unknown Brazilian gems on FM, so it doesnt bode well.
