"For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield.

There's something happening here

What it is ain't exactly clear

There's a man with a gun over there

Telling me I got to beware

I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

There's battle lines being drawn

Nobody's right if everybody's wrong

Young people speaking their minds

Getting so much resistance from behind

I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

What a field-day for the heat

A thousand people in the street

Singing songs and carrying signs

Mostly say, hooray for our side

It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

Paranoia strikes deep

Into your life it will creep

It starts when you're always afraid

You step out of line, the man come and take you away

We better stop, hey, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

Stop, hey, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

Stop, now, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

Stop, children, what's that sound

Everybody look what's going down

Tour of Duty RULES

Hell yeah, that right there is what we call TV burried treasure.

Used to stay up and watch it at all hours when I was a wee nipper and it was fuckin amazing, the haunting guitar track during the closing credits were brilliant too.

Top, top show.

Trawled the net for the series a couple of years ago but no joy. Should be able to find it somewhere now as its retro telly. Pisses all over A-Team, Airwolf and whatever that was cool to watch on telly back in the days.

Mo, you can get it on Amazon, region 1 only, though.

Great shout, but this is the one for me.

Stouff, have you seen The Kitson live? I've seen him on a number of occasions and well worth yer beer money.

As for 'nam erm Jesus Built my Hotrod I suppose but I can't see myself rattling a gun off randomly at innocent people so anything by the Carpenters to soothe my soul. Why do birds . . .

the wagner one was pure cinematic class but as has been alluded to, i dont think anything has a patch on tracks of my tears.

that scene when they show both factions, with smokey robinson playing in one section, and then okey from muscogie in the other was brilliant, great soundtrack is platoon, not forgetting adagio for strings*

before it got credited by chavs everywhere as that tiesto tune.
