    James Milner; £165,000 P/W

This 100%. Mad how we´ve all turned into sporting directors these days! Not gonna be breaking the bank one way or another, and if he doesn´t see out the contract, there will be a transfer fee coming in for him. Hopefully, he´ll be here til 2022 and leave even more of an imprint on the lads coming through. Chrimbo´s come early for us reds this year.
  2. Thanks for making me aware of these. I´ll know to steer well clear now

So what´s the deal with the Ciro movie? There were definitely some weaker moments in season 4 but still a great watch. Gennaro is going down one way or another in season 5.

Would anyone know of any potentially dodgy sites which I should steer clear of in order to avoid transgressing the law?
  6. Interesting comments given by Moore. Nice to have an indication that the club are thinking bigger... "That is insufficient for our plans. We're continuing to analyze what is the optimum number," he said. "I think in the next few months you're going to hear from us as regards to what those plans will be. I can tell you definitively it won't be the rather small-to-medium plans we had recently." https://www.modbee.com/entertainment/celebrities/article233080707.html

    Peter Crouch

Yes and no. Obviously the goal thing was hanging over his head, and once he got that slice of luck, he was fine. I remember being pretty happy with his contribution though. As a player for us, his hold up play and link up with Stevie really stood out. We all remember how good Stevie was with Torres, but he loved having Crouchy there before that. Top man who gave us some great memories, and laughs. Hope he enjoys his retirement. I can be fairly certain he will.

    Copa America

Hadn´t realised that about the smaller groups. I´m guessing the top two from each group will qualify? The slog was fun man! Lots of needle and good football on offer

    Copa America

Yeah, Chile would have been better off just winning the first one and for the Copa to stick to every 4 years. Having so many of them just devalues it. Next year is to get it in line with the Euros so hopefully they´ll stop dicking about with after that. That said, half of next years will be here in Colombia, with the final here in Barranquilla so I won´t moan too much. Still feel the South American qualifiers are a much better watch than the Copa. Home advantage makes for a very even playing field in South America, and in terms of entertainment per game, the qualifiers are for me the best international football has to offer.

Think they may have been the three in that game against Bournemouth. Omens!

Keita and Fab in? Interesting indeed. Was just thinking about parallels between now and the December form. We were winning but not pulling up trees, then we won thanks to a spawny Kop end goal. Next game I believe was a trip to the south coast where Salah reannounced himself and then we hit our best form. Here´s hoping for a similar outcome.
