Maybe we can give them Anfield back...

You laugh but on the Alan Jackson show the other night one suggested they could temporarily use Anfield once we'd moved, and their new stadium was being built. This would allow them to sell Goodison quicker for redevelopment, and get some money in. True. :no

Well every little helps. I think it would be brilliant if they moved back to anfield for a season or two. they'd absolutely hate it. it would illustrate what fucking tramps they are too, having our cast offs. come on blue rinse bill, move to anfield, you know it makes sense!

The only time I ever wanna see those sad acts anywhere near Anfield is during a derby.

would you not love their pain? having to sit in red seats every week. having to know they sit in the kop. knowing kopites are gobshites will never be the same again. knowing this was the home to millions of a great nights and triumphs .. and knowing they're only there because they're the tramps who can't afford their own place? i think it would be fucking brilliant.

And for true historical accuracy make 'em change in the bogs at the Sandon.

Agreed. Would truly hate to see our spiritual home occupied by the blueshite. I would rather see it demolished than know that they ever called it 'home'.

Sure, they would hate the idea, but I would hate it more.

The L or CH or whatever in your postcode Purely and Only means the Nearest Postal sorting office. If it says LIVERPOOL on your address then you are in Liverpool. Ormskirk has Lancs therefore its in Lancashshire, same as Burscough

Shouldn't you be changing a nappy or something! I've made a note of your post count and will be monitoring it for the next six months to see if you are pulling your weight rather than responding to messages!!!!

Bloody hell - has this place turned into YNWA?

The nearest postal sorting office to Birkenhead is Liverpool, without a doubt. The reason the post code changed to CH was because the Royal Mail couldn't be arsed paying the tunnel fare anymore.

Yep. The postal code change had no political or regulatory effect at all. We're still Merseyside.

Yeah, but Merseyside was just an administrative district (and it's not even that any more) - Liverpool is still in Lancashire and has been since 1182.

Wasnt there talk of making it Greater Liverpool and getting rid of the name Merseyside and then Liverpool would cease to be part of Lancashire.
