Lets hope NZ stuff the Irish

It's a toughie. We're all Irish back from the 1800s, but my brother married a Kiwi and moved there 25 years ago. Just as long as England don't fuck their way to the final, Wimbledon-style.

Scottish players talking absolute shite all week. And then captain says after match: "Ireland the better team on the night. We felt we had enough to beat them, but..."

Seriously, the Scots under Townsend need to reconnect to reality.

Nine losses in a row against Ireland. Ten tries in those nine matches.

"On the night."

They've been very vocal leading up to the game haven't they? The run ends on Saturday seems to have been said a lot.

I started to believe they had something on the Irish, especially when they kept it at 5-0 for so long, but just bluster after all.

We beat them at their place a few months back with no hooker and Van Der Flier throwing in at line outs, I don't know where all this Scottish bravado was coming from.

Last night was the order of things, it's a mediocre Scotland side and this Irish team are really special.

I always felt with Irish teams in the past, even the best ones, that they would find a way to lose. This team always finds a way to win. QF against the All-Blacks will be the true test of them though, it should be a brilliant game.

Are you a bit worried that Ireland will knacker themselves out before the final? Bit like England last World Cup, beat Australia and the All Blacks and probably the best team, but ran out of steam in the final.

It's a possibility but I think this Irish team are particularly fit and well conditioned. I would be more worried about injuries to key players and how that might affect things, but first priority is to get past the QFs and the worry. We have to finally get to the semi finals and take that QF hoodoo off our back, anything less is a major disappointment.

I think Ireland will win it. They find a way to win even when they aren't playing well. Farrell has done a great job there, especially as it appears he wasn't good enough for the RFU

Just finished watching a recording of the Japan V Argentina game. Really enjoyed it, very entertaining stuff.

I was never a huge fan of Rugby growing up but I've really gotten into it over the last few years and actively look forwardto it. A complete contrast to the absolute shit-show that is the Premier league.

The refereeing and use of technology to harmonise the communication and the agreed and correct outcome, is a lesson for all sports attempting to develop itself.

And still they get it wrong.
