Seems a lot of people are writing today off....i get it, but fuck me we have to start winning league games.....

 

We have not won since 31st Aug (i appreciate there was a break but still...)

 

We have 2 league wins so far this season - we are 13 pts behind Tottenham who are 3rd and as it stands 9 pts behind Chelsea who are 4th....

 

We are currently only 1 point ahead of the team in 18th.

 

Yes we have played less games, yes we have had all sorts of problems and loads of bad luck and we are in back to back games against the current best two sides in league - but how much longer can we keep going without winning before it becomes too much of an ask for us to even be in with a real shout of top 4?

 

Today would be a very good day to finally kickstart our league campaign - it risks even as relatively early as it running away from us...and a bad defeat here today would really hurt and really hurt the confidence, as well as see a load more negative noise start up about us in the media etc.

 

We need to show a few people IMO, shut a few up and get our campaign going.

As is said it is 'only 3' but we could really do without it becoming 4 today - even if it is against these.....lose and we have 10 pts from 9 games - that would be a miserable return and fact would be even if we want to dress it up with 'oh but we have played everton away and arsenal and man city' that we would be 1 solitary point above the bottom 3 and a bomb load behind the likes of arsenal, tottenham and chelsea.
