Disappointing at Leeds yesterday but not unexpected.

Leeds got themselves into some reasonable positions to break but the lack of quality was frightening - over hit, under hit, over running the ball, bad runs… not saying City wouldn’t have won anyway, they likely would have done anyway, but Leeds should have caused more issues than they did.

Unfortunately, yesterday Newcastle didn’t look like they would be able to cause City many problems. However, who knows what Wednesday night will take out of City and I suppose Newcastle’s best preparation for the game was playing us yesterday.

MOTD did an interesting bit on our defending yesterday, how we had 3/4 hunting the ball at times and how we’d get everybody behind the ball… be interesting if City do the same because Newcastle do have players who could hurt them, especially if Saint-Maximin pulls out one of his unplayable 1-in-10 performances.

Wolves also have good prep for their game with City as they play Chelsea a few days before. Hopefully Wolves get a huge kick up the arse after yesterday.

I don’t see Villa doing anything last day. The script is just too perfect.

Steven Gerrard names himself as a sub then comes on with 5 minutes to go and lashes a 30 yarder in the top corner to win the game for Villa and hand us the title.
