Curry with rice or naan?

Nah, curry and baked beans mate.

Fish and chips?

Nope, fish and beans.

It’s a sickness.

Seen people on Twitter eating beans with fish and chips. I wasn’t even aware that chippies sold them. Has to be peas or maybe a side order of a carton of curry.

Beans go with the following:

Beans on toast, with cheese preferably.

Beans with chips, with cheese preferably, sausages are fine here too.

Beans with mashed potato and sausage.

Beans with potato waffles, with cheese preferably.

Beans in a tub with a fry is acceptable but not desirable - definitely should NOT be on the plate.

I can't think of anything else that beans go with.

Negged for denying the rightful place of beans.

Hardcore pro-beaners like yourself give us moderate pro-beaners a bad name.

There’s nothing hardcore about putting beans on a plate. We are the mainstream. But look, let’s not start arguing amongst ourselves. Let’s remember the true enemy; the anti bean Nazis.

They're known as the Ultra-beaners

Jimmy Saville set them up in the 70s to practice depravity on the fringes. Their leadership was decimated after the death of Saville and Thatcher and the rump are mainly in Broadmoor or serving long terms in HM Penal Colonies
