we are getting the half eleven to preston, then to mill hill from there, about ten mins walk then. there is a boozer just by it as well, the brown cow.

Half 11 is a bit early. I'll be out Friday night. Gonna get the half one train probably. Is Mill Hill the same station as Blackburn. I typed in Blackburn to tranline.

The JDW pub in Blackburn is popular after matches, The Postal Order. There are two Thwaites pubs very close to the Station but a lot of pubs in Central Blackburn serve keg Thwaites no cask, and many town centre pubs have signs saying "no away fans", or they have in the past.

 

The Navigation close to the ground is a good pint, and most of the other Thwaites pubs near the ground serve the cask version. Not my favourite tipple but it's good on it's home patch, especially The Daniel's Hammer.

No. Usually get them in advance myself though as they're normally a bit cheaper and saves queuing.

What train are you getting back to Liverpool. All the return journeys from Mill Hill take over 2 and a half hours.

good pub at the top of livsey called the wellington, we go there everytime and is very freindly, only problem is that it is about a twenty minute walk up a massive hill after the game. good exercise thoiugh. :thumbsup:

Paul Mc, we just gonna have to do that, and get two trains methinks as you cant go via preston after 7.

 

mill hill is not blackburn station, it is the other side. you come out the home end end, and walk down the big hill.
