It was pissing me off, initially, but when they started saying that Ward would knock Kovalev out, or make him quit, it became clear that they are all on the wind up.

Take away these incidents and he comes across as alright normally, he's probably been suppressing or massively limiting these views because his PR team have made him, he wouldn't be a boxing superstar if the networks realised he was racist.

And there is no way that Kovalev won the fight as wide as some people say either.

 

But Ward making out it was a clear victory has to be to wind up Kovalev, surely.

 

I think it will be a competitive 12 round fight again following a similar pattern. Kovalev will gas again and Ward will steal most rounds from 7-12.

Obviously he could get caught but for my money Ward is up there with the greats talent wise and in a rematch will adjust to make things easier for himself

Trying to figure out how Adonis Stevenson ruined his career is gonna be trivia question for the ages.

 

He has so much talent, but the fight with Kovalev will never happen (hottest fight in boxing for a year), no Ward, no Hopkins, no Pascal, no Smith and Alvarez has been his mandatory for three years.

 

It is a textbook in how to earn money, and minimise risk, even though one is a good fighter.
