Rodgers Speaks!

I like Brendan a lot but jesus, pull yourself together JP.

I have hardly brought Rodgers name up the last few months, other fans want to carry on talking about him and when something goes wrong say if BR was here it would be worse etc.I give my opinion if I see something like that and am only talking about him today is because he was on tv last night.

I would have kept him and if I'm being honest I would take him back, the post which said I would be happier with 2 cups and 3rd under BR next season is right. The reason being we would have done it playing excellent football and would be building towards a similar style of play to Barca, right now Klopps style doesn't look as attractive to me.I didn't say I would be unhappy with that scenario under Klopp or that I wouldn't see it as success, I said I still wouldn't be convinced it was the right decision to sack BR.

I'm surprised I'm the only one who's not thrilled to be at the start of another rebuilding job, I would have preferred to see this season out looking at top 4 as the minimum aim instead of Jurgen experimenting and learning about the league while we scrap it out for a Europa league place. The fact the title race is wide open and weaker teams are doing much better then us makes it worse.

I quit, again:

Despite seeing his side fail to put their lowly European opposition to the sword at Anfield on Thursday night, Rodgers remained optimistic about his position as Liverpool manager, saying “it’s a wonderful challenge.”

Goals from Adam Lallana and Ebenezer Assifuah ensured the Reds shared the spoils with FC Sion in their second clash of the 2015/16 Europa League campaign.

But the 42-year-old remained upbeat, taking a confident stance when questioned about the pressure he is currently under as manager.

“It’s the pressures of a huge club like this,” he said.

“But I immensely enjoy the job here. It’s a wonderful challenge, in terms of how we’ve been building it over a couple of years.

“It’s a rebuilding job again, and we’ll take it forward hopefully.”
