After this defeat, I think that it's going to be absolutely imperative for Rodgers that he takes at least six points from the next three fixtures. Some of it depends on how the team looks, of course, but you have to find the right balance between giving a new manager time and arresting a Hodgson-esque situation before it reaches crisis point.

It was blatantly obvious that Hodgson was even further out of his depth than predicted and effectively gone after the Man City match. If we fail to defeat them next weekend - and it's absolutely essential that we do if we want to challenge for the top four - then Rodgers is in a tough spot early on. Being less of a known commodity than Hodgson it's probably not quite as desperate, but we'll have some sort of inkling.

Hahaha - that's all I can say. Painful, indeed. And seeing Fulham got Petric a proven goalscorer, already scored two for them and they only signed them for a season. Why can't we sign a player like that, who can score a goal or two?

Skrtel is FUCKING SHIT.

Big wake up call for people this, £20m and we turned it down for this pair?

Gerrard can fuck off as well, go buy another Merc lad, thisll only be your 6th or something, go treat yourself.

Sick of the attitude from the key players, the same players who got Kenny sacked. Sell them Brendan, do it your way boss.
