Holy shait! Suarez!!!

Well done Borini, but fuck me Suarez can make anyone look good.

It was a great skill, but Suarez didn't do anything to make Borini look good there. It was a rebound, and a great finish.

Almost in again. It's nice to have a striker up with play.

If we only add a good finisher to last season were already about 15 points better off.

If Borini is said clinical striker, any more arrivals (or departures) are a bonus.

That was a great first time hit, not something we said very often from a LFC front man last season. Considering the opposition, you can't read too much into it, but the signs look promising

Yep, very tidy. Downing started well, but faded. Borini looks like he'll slot in fairly well. Suarez on fucking fire. First home game, still 'pre-season' in reality and things look fairly positive. They're poor, but we've been lovely. Good first half.

Proper 1st half that. Good passing, pace and pressing when we don't have the ball. And two proper goals. Can't ask for more then that. What a change a week has made.

Seems like Suarez and Borini already like each other, both hard-working forwards. Can see the couple getting quite a few goals this season.

Very good half. A little complacent in defence at times, but some good passing upfront, and I like the look of Borini - good first touch. Probably the best midfield set up we can offer at the moment, with Gerrard perfectly deployed - and he's not looking to drop back and do Lucas and Shelvey's jobs.

Suarez is just fantastic, of course.
