It's a cover version that's better than the OG, brah.

There's a scene in a Marilyn Monroe film where she's trying on a tiara and she says "I just love finding new ways to wear diamonds".

You just love finding new ways to be wrong on the internet.

This is a good cover, it’s similar in some ways to an earlier cover of the same song by the magnificent Annette Peacock, not really similar actually but he copies her double “and I always will” at the end-so he (and Bowie as it’s pretty much a Bowie album) was clearly influenced by it. Ronson also covers Peacocks “I’m the one” on the same album. That is a tremendous song and Bowie completely lifted it for “Something in the air” on his “Hours” album.

The guitar on Annette Peacock's version is stunning...

Not sure if this is better than the Gnarls Barkley version, but it is certainly a superb cover.

Montagne is seriously underrated in my opinion

Brilliant version. Don't think he's underrated at all, just not mainstream. He sells out pretty much every gig he does.
