I'm only jealous you're getting some and I'm not!

Anyone getting some after a win for the bitters must be the most deprived man in the universe. If you are jealous about him......

They aren't bad. On the balance, they should have had 6 points even before this game.

They're low in quality but they put a proper shift in. They were first to every second ball tonight and pressed Brentford's defence into loads of mistakes.

They'll be upper mid-table after their next 2 games sadly.

They are truly fucking awful: every bit as bad as the promoted teams and considerably worse than the rest of the league.

They have 4 points from 6 games, not because they're undergoing an injury crisis, or embedding new players, or adjusting to a step up to a higher division; this is who they are now and as good as it gets for them.

Mate, you did this all last season. Learn your lesson.

I watched a chunk of yesterday's game and Everton played pretty well against an admittedly anaemic Brentford side.

Now they have a few options up front they won't be anywhere near the drop like last season, unless they go bang or get a 12 point deduction.

DCL will get a ladder in his tights in a few games and miss 6 months

They're really not. They have put in some decent performances this season. Some really bad, but some decent. They look like a team that will finish around 15th. Maybe even like 12-15.
