The way he bowls, its seems as though he's not rolling his arm over fully and its like he's 'chucking it'.

I don't think the angle of his entire arm is a problem. He's just a slingy bowler, like Tait, Edwards, and various other quick bowlers. Admittedly he's even more round arm than most. Its just easier to generate pace like this. A few spinners were similar, Ian Salisbury, for e.g. Because its also easier to generate spin. As long as it isn't underarm, its ok.

What matters is the angle between forearm and upperarm. Whether or not he's bowling with enough of a straight arm. Can't remember the exact requirements, they differ for quicks and spinners, I believe.

His action seems to be fine, if incredibly difficult to pick up for batsman.

If an English kid turned up to his local club with an action like Malinga - he'd be coached to bowl 'properly'. I'm not totally convinced about his action - it's hardly over-arm, more round-arm. However, the ICC would be too gutless to do anything, like with Muralitharan. But that's another subject.

Bloody effective bowler though - can be almost unplayable.

No. For Tournaments the ICC sell the rights to broadcaaters but they can't use their own commentators. So there is only 1 set of commentators at each game.

106/4. Starting to fall away now.

Cheers mate.

I always miss Nicholas, he's easy on the ear and knows his stuff.

I can see why Chanel 9 nicked him when Chanel 4 lost their rights.

Nicholas was always with Channel 9, I think. Because the summers are different. Sky just robbed Atherton instead.

Nicholas used to work for Chanel 9 and 4, he now covers England for Chanel 9 instead of a home broadcaster was what I meant mate.

Paddy's not quite doing themselves justice here.
