A little unrealistic perhaps.

Be nice though, especially with Kuyt, Aquilani, Jovanovic as other good attacking options.

I'm feeling a certain wave of unwarranted optimism, not sure if I like it.

taken from last year

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o has admitted 'it would be wonderful' to play in front of the Kop for Liverpool.

'The great thing about Liverpool is their team spirit - it is very strong,' he told the Sunday Mirror.'But, for me, it is their fans who win matches for Liverpool because they have so much power. 'They are fantastic. Any player would love to have those types of fans behind him. 'I have played at Anfield in the Champions League quarter-final so I know all about their fantastic supporters. 'It would be wonderful to have that kind of support as a Liverpool player but I really don't know what will happen in the next two years.'

Etoo was valued at what, £25m 12 months ago? And that was with only 12 months left on his contract. I dont see this happening but id be seriously delighted if it was true. More than seriously delighted tbh. Even if he is a "bit wasteful"!

Hahahaha. Can't believe you believed your 'friend'! Rafa might love Mascherano but Moratti is no fool!

Moratti is known for giving his managers what they want, if Mascherano wants to play for Inter you can bet Moratti will do whatever it takes to get him there to show he's backing his manager. Inter have more than enough money to replace Eto'o anyway.
