  1. Seen as he's playing for a move, let's not forget none of the big European clubs came in for him, I really don't think he'll lack motivation
  2. Douglas Costa from Shaktar I'm guessing, never seen him play if he is the guy
  3. I remember those Falcao rumours, I also remember at the time thinking he had a slighly better than a 1 in 3 goal scoring record in what everyone says is a poor Argentinian league and that he would be just mediocre dross.
  4. If anyone could PM me a stream, I'd appreciate it, ta
  5. If we could get him for a decent price, I think he'd be a great signing. It's not that he's a brillant player but he'll give us much needed pace. When Lennon got injured for Spurs last year, they didn't look half as potent. Walcott although limited is twice the footballer Lennon is. Our counter attacking play is too slow and the signing of Walcott would go a long way to solving that problem.
  6. Michael Laudrup was appointed last week mate so I can't see that being the hold up.
  7. It's more Neil Jones from the echo I'd be worried about, but in hindsight the delay just doesn't add up.
  8. What I read from that is that they're not going to do either. While I accept that if H&G were still in charge things would be substantially worse, it looks like this crowd are happy to just thread water.
  9. I'm sure he feels he's not experienced enough to take it on. He more or less said the same when he was asked about the Chelsea job a couple of months back. Also I'd imagine he probably feels he might be interviewed but that he has no realistic chance of getting the job.
  10. If Newcastle does get 4th spot and Chelsea don't win, Ashley is not going to spend money, he'll be happy to take the extra cash rather than invest in the team, they'd be a lot easier to dislodge than Chelsea or Spurs and besides I love the way "You've got no history" gets under the skin of chelsea fans
  11. Is Marwood not the city DoF but they just gave him a different title? Why is he particularly highly rated?
  12. I can't believe you actually negged me for that, whenever I figure out how to neg someone you're first on the list!!!!
  13. Klopp is the stand out candidate although I'd imagine when he does leave Dortmund he'll have the pick of European clubs. Whoever we get it'll be a huge gamble as we look in a bit of a mess and I can't see them being handed a lot of money. How's Babbel doing at Hofenheim, barring his last few months at Stuttgart he has done well in his first year at Stuttgart and Hertha. I actually think Rafa is the man for the job but unfortunately he'd be hugely divisive which would put him on the back foot from the start.
