Absolutely nothing club propped up by a Russian criminal. One league title before he bought them fucking ONE!! Jesus Christ there are teams in league two with more achievements than that. It's about time they finally sanctioned him it only took them two weeks that's all

There are teams in the Championship with the same amount of European cups.

The licence allows Chelsea to pay a maximum of £20,000 per game per club team for travel expenses for players and ‘essential staff’....For context, a usual Premier League away game with a flight, security, food, hotels etc would be about £30k. ...

That fella with the shady eyes on SSN earlier was saying they've already paid for all their travel etc up-front until the end of the season.

Surely the players would just cough up to keep their luxuries anyway.

Yes yes and another yes!! We'd be top of the league then.

All those wholesome clubs like Man City who stand with Ukraine shouldn't have a problem though.

What an outrageous thing to say. I was motivated purely by a desire for sporting integrity.

I bet all their smug fans are crying now. Back to the days of John Bunstead and Doug Rouvie for them abusing their own black players.

Horrible death mocking twats. After Everton they are the fan basethat goes on the most about Heysel, even though they were a nomark yo yo club who were not in Europe.

Everyone always used to say "Wait til Abramovich gets bored then you are fucked" and they thought they would never have to worry, bragging about how rich they were.

It's going to be hard to take for them but couldn't happen to a more horrible fanbase.

She's massively disappointed someone is having their club taken off them. Allegedly.

Don't be too hard on her. Apparently she also feels a bit glum when someone has their head or hands taken off them, too. But she's a trouper.

They'll either be bought or some kind of conflict resolution will be made and gangsters and dirty money will be welcomed back to the UK more than ever before.

Yeah but no one is going to be able to prop them up as much as he has.

They won't be able to expand the stadium to increase revenue either as it will cost a fortune.

Yeah, but the BBC highlighting Brentford being halfway through selling their allocation highlights the question of how it applies to away fans.

Plus all that would do is confirm that they can't comply with the league rules. In which case, what is the position? For instance, if they were to go on and win the league (not impossible) how could that be valid?

Expecting an announcement soon, expecting it to be a disappointing one where the rest of the league has to accommodate them. Depending on their financial projections, that might be adequate, but if it's just the easiest way forward I don't see why away teams should be disadvantaged.

Need to say as well, this is obviously minor compared to the reason behind the sanctions. Ukraine's situation massively overshadows all of this. The best solution is Putin fucks off and these measures can be reversed.

The obvious solution in my mind would be to allow away fans but with those tickets sold independently of the club.

Hopefully then not too many of the casual match day workers on minimum wage don’t get fucked over and all profits are donated to charities helping in Ukraine.

It would take some organising/thought though so I don’t expect it to happen for a second.

Has anybody asked Stavely what she thinks?

She, apparently, borrowed 30 million to get into bed with a blood-soaked murderer.

She's probably feverishly calculating the chances, however slim, that the government starts to look further afield at targets worthy of sanctioning.

Hopefully this decision puts the shits up any of the other cunts out there looking to sportswash their reputations by buying into the Prem.

Unless they're Russians , it won't make a blind bit of difference
