Liverpool's backroom revolution will continue with England physio Dave Galley returning to Anfield from Wigan.

Galley, who was Liverpool's physio when Gerard Houllier suffered his heart problems on the touchline before leaving to work for Bolton and Wigan, will return to head the Academy's medical department, says the Daily Mail.

He is currently in Sweden with England U21s but is in line for a promotion to assist Gary Lewin in the senior squad next season.

Was that ever confirmed though.

Can't recall seeing anything about it on the LFC website and even if he is in the academy and he has nothing to do with the first team so how would it be his call to withdraw Stevie from any squad
