SoccerMax one is getting funnier but also slightly weirder by the week. They've got a Deadline day special out this week so hopefully they slag of Mereles for leaving at the last minute! Glad we didn't get Yossi back tho.

I listen to this one: SoccerMax Podcast - The world's number one football podcast Very knowledgeable and hilarious at times - although a bit crude! Run by two Liverpool fans....... but also a Manc and a Bitter. Makes a change from the run of the mill ones.

He's an acquired taste put I think Gledenning is boss!

Not a big fan of football ramble as they think they are too funny. Guardian football weekly is the one for the purists. Have been listening to the SoccerMax podcast recently, loads funnier than the others and has a couple of Liverpool fans hosting. soccermaxpodcast.co.UK I think. Anyone else heard it yet?

Tis' rather baffling, but then it is Newcastle! :) Almost as baffling as why Aston Villa are hiring the manager that took the local rivals down from the Premiership....but then it is Aston Villa. I'm so happy I'm a Liverpool Fan.

Howdy, It's looking likely that we won't be getting the 5th place European slot now but does anyone know if there any other ways to qualify for next season? I'm thinking Intertoto(does it still exist?), Fair Play record?, United or Chelsea winning Champs league and FA CUP? Bribbing Uefa officials? Some people have suggested 'it will do us good' not being in Europe next season to concentrate on the league. Personally I think it is very sad that we won't be in Europe next season. x

The ref has lost it, he really has. Non of the bookings were warranted in my opinion. Maybe he was going out with the Lino Lady and she dumped him. I was gonna call first dibs on her until she messed up that other decision against Maxi. :)

Well there's a shock! If they were serious business men then they would of been there in person just like Purslow, Ayres and Broughton. One would imagine it would have worked against them that they didn't turn up in person.!

Is there any footage of Tweedledum and Tweedledummer leaving the court???!! Would love to see the look on their faces :)

I met Nick Leeson a few years ago when he came into my Internet Cafe in Chester. I believe he had been doing some after dinner speaking somewhere on how he foofed up the economy. Anyway, although perfectly pleasant, he was clearly a few sandwiches short of a picnic - genuinely mental and just looked plain lost. Mind you, you would be after what he'd been through! I'd ignore anything he has to say or at least take with a large shovel of salt.

Mark Walters against Auxerre 1991-92. 2-0 down after the first leg and then we win three nil at home. It's the first great European come back I can remember. Have trawled through youtube but can't find footage. Gutted!
