I might bet on a 2nd innings England batting collapse and Aussies winning it comfortably.

It's in gods country, first time we've hosted one of our own tests, it wont be a loss. Though I have to confess the barmy army are starting to grate, with their swing low and shite........

Needs a bit of Cwm Rhondda or Delilah.

zenophobic twat...

great tag.

Now, is that someone who is afraid of change (from the ancient Greek philosopher who formulated paradoxes that defended the belief that motion and change are illusory) or someone who is afraid of foreigners?

Either way, we're not signing Ribéry.

A Buddhism allusion I would guess.

Just had this funny email off my mate.

“Franck Ribery revealed today that he is a boyhood Liverpool supporter and his hero was Kenny Dalglish. The French midfielder said, ‘I am so glad Kenny Dalglish is back at Liverpool. This gives me a great opportunity to play with one of my heroes.’ Dalglish has been given the number 7 jersey and will play just off Torres with Gerrard moving back into midfield for the departing Mascherano.” Dave Prentice, Liverpool Echo

Does Prentice know that Kenny retired years ago?

Rummenigge - Ribery will stay

Bayern Munich president hopeful of playmaker's stay

Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is optimistic that Franck Ribery will be at the club for the first game of the season.

The French playmaker has been the subject of persistent transfer speculation this summer, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United,Chelsea and Liverpool all linked with the star.

But Rummenigge believes the 26-year-old international with stay with the Bundesliga outfit beyond the summer.

He told Sport1: "The media should be very grateful as there has been no better subject than Franck Ribery and Bayern this summer.

Completely relaxed

"Our opinion has not changed in respect to Ribery. I am completely relaxed and I can say that from the start we have always felt that he would stay.

"I am optimistic that Franck will be with us for our first game of the season against Hoffenheim.

"Bayern has the last word and our view is very firm and we are not going to speak about this every day."
