Diversify

Can-do culture

all singing from the same hymn sheet

Furnish - not as in furnish your house with a new 3 piece suite from Next but "please furnish me with the information i need" - this has been said to me on numerous occasions and at every point I have laughed in the person's face.

Guesstimate/Ball park figure

Development opportunity - basically when a manager cant be arsed doing something he gives it to a lower grade and makes out that it is a favour which will benefit the unwilling recipient's career

Random is my most annoying word. Mostly because nobody ever uses it correctly.

Such as, "oh my god, my night out last night was, like, sooooo random!!!"

Really? Was it reallyrandom?? I mean was it though?

Did you perhaps select around 50 locations and 50 freinds, then put them all inside Bingo balls and have an independant adjudicator randomly select one location and one friend for you to go out with that night??

Then, during that night out, every bar you frequented and each drink you had was randomly selected by the same aforementioned independant adjudicator. Then, at the end of the night, did he put the names of many fine slags and the numbers of many taxi firms into the aformentioned Bingo balls, and repeat the random draw process to ascertain which girl you bummed and what cab firm took you to your bumming venue?

That would be a random night.

Cunts.

I tried to warn you:

Making a statement and sticking "no?" on the end of it. At first I thought it was an amusing Anglicised version of the Spanish thing that Rafa does, but if it was once that it's now just tedious.

and one from this site... appending random words with 'esma' is no substitute for wit.

no, not in that way.... and not in the 'that was SO not the right way to use so" way either, and not in the Irish way, or the Japanese way either.

It will be on the beginning of sentences that aren't questions. It's coming.

I've seen it and you're right. It just comes out of nothing:

"So I went out last night, and met this really hot girl....."

"So I was at work right, and this client came in..."

etc

It's a concern alright.
